NHS pay agreement reached

Following a meeting of the NHS Staff Council on 2 May, the pay offer made by the government to increase NHS Agenda for Change pay rates by 5%, plus a one-off lump sum worth about 6%, for PDA Union members has now been agreed.

New National Executive Committee holds first meeting

The PDA Union’s new National Executive Committee (NEC) held their first meeting in April 2023. The NEC are elected by members in statutory elections in which every full member can stand, nominate and/or vote for candidates.

PDA LGBT+ Network committee member wins trade union equality award

Fife-based trainee pharmacist and Honorary Secretary of the PDA LGBT+ Network, Soh Xi Ken has won the Scottish Trades Union Congress' (STUC) Equality Award.

PDA urges the government to not backtrack on sexual harassment laws

Outcome of NHS pay offer consultation

The PDA emailed members employed in the NHS on 20 March. The email included details of a survey for members to complete on the latest position regarding NHS pay in the four countries, the PDA is now able to advise members of the responses to that survey.
