World AMR Awareness Week

From 18 to 25 November it is World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW) and the main theme for this #WAAW is ‘Preventing antimicrobial resistance together’. Therefore, the PDA would like to provide an update on how they are addressing some of the AMR issues within a multidisciplinary framework and how PDA members can get involved in this fight against AMR.

PDA LGBT+ Network speaks out against transphobic rhetoric

Following the statements by some senior government ministers at their party conference in October and the subsequent decision to reverse the commitment on banning conversion therapy, the PDA’s LGBT+ Network wholly condemns transphobic rhetoric, including comments relating to wards in hospital trusts across the UK.
