In 1999, the pharmacy undergraduate population was 5,534; in 2009 it stands at 13,026 and the number of pharmacy schools is set to increase still further. The PDA's Conferences in England and Wales considered this subject and explored possible solutions

Over 100 Boots pharmacists join employment tribunal proceedings against their employer

Following on from the recent victory for 19 Boots pharmacists, represented by the PDA Union at the Nottingham Employment Tribunal, more than 100 pharmacists now wish to commence legal proceedings against Boots Management Services Ltd.

Boots Rest Break Policy for Pharmacists (Members Only)

The PDA has been contacted by a number of members concerning a Rest Break Policy which has been recently issued by Boots in conjunction with the Boots Pharmacists Association (BPA). A senior executive of the company has agreed to share a copy of the policy with the PDA.
